Infosys Lead Attendance Surge

Infosys Offices Attendance Surge visible at Indian tech campuses as more employees return to work on-site.

Infosys offices has started lead attendence surge and has reported a significant surge in on-site employee attendance across its Bengaluru, Chennai, and Pune campuses during April 2025. The data suggests a clear shift in employee behaviour within the Indian IT industry, pointing toward a growing preference—or push—for returning to physical offices.

Bengaluru, the company’s largest hub, saw the highest attendance rate, followed closely by Chennai and Pune. According to company sources, the increase is being driven by a mix of internal policies, team collaboration needs, and improved in-office experiences. Many tech professionals are returning not out of compulsion but due to hybrid work schedules and enhanced workplace amenities.

This comes at a time when global and Indian tech companies are reassessing remote work models. While many startups continue offering fully remote roles, IT giants like Infosys, TCS, and Wipro are now promoting structured hybrid or partial in-office attendance policies. This movement reflects growing employer concerns about productivity, team bonding, and long-term cultural alignment.

Employees, however, remain divided. Some appreciate face-to-face interaction and faster decision-making, while others raise concerns over commute times and reduced flexibility. Regardless, Infosys’ April numbers indicate that the balance may be tipping back towards in-office work, at least in the large enterprise segment.

For business leaders, infosys lead attendance surge could influence workspace planning, real estate investment, and employee retention strategies. For employees, it reopens discussions around flexibility, work-life balance, and professional growth in hybrid environments
